Meet Our Team
Brilz Associate Clinic
Family Medical Services in Wainwright, AB
Dr. Brilz
Lead Physician & Owner
Dr. Brilz is a kind, compassionate, and loving physician, but she is also all those things to her clinic team. With the ongoing support of her Clinic team, she continues to be busy while keeping up with the demands of an ever-changing healthcare system. You might not know, but Dr. Brilz has quite a sense of humour. She often cracks jokes at work to make the room more lively and takes a “coffee break” to force her team to take a beat from the craze of the day. Even though Dr. Brilz is the lead physician at the clinic, she trusts her team to handle tasks she’s too busy to do and regularly shows her appreciation by supporting their Tim Hortons addictions and bakery indulgences. You’ll always know where Dr. Brilz is “hiding” when you find her Green Jeep. It’s very unique to her in town.
Dr. Amike
Associate Physician
Dr. Amike comes to Brilz Associate Clinic from Nigeria, bringing over 15 years of experience as a family physician. He moved to Wainwright because of his love for the community. Since starting at the clinic, he has filled his schedule with daily meet-and-greet appointments to fill his patient panel. Dr. Amike’s goal is to have over 5000 patients, but Brittany has regularly reminded him that this will never happen while she works at the clinic. He jokes in return, saying that the Clinic Manager’s calm and helpful demeanour has added more years to his life, which means he needs to work more and see more patients. Dr. Amike’s humour is well enjoyed throughout the clinic. Even though he has his license and a car, you often see him walking to work and the hospital. He loves to walk and stretch his legs. On warm spring days, he likes to finish early to go enjoy the sun.
Many have come to learn about African time through Dr. Amike’s emulation of it. Google it… It’s real. Luckily, his clinic team finds humour in this and gives him a hard time over it. The clinic gals also find his candy addiction to be quite entertaining. After a long clinic day, you will find him at the candy bowl digging for his favourites. Even though he says sugar is taking years off his life, he still indulges.
[She has] probably one of the widest scopes of practice of any rural Alberta physician there is. She’s exceptionally easy to work with [and] one of the most caring people on the face of the planet that I know.

Brittany Rutledge
Clinic Manager and wearer of many hats
Brittany has been a part of the Brilz Associate Clinic Team since 2009. She left for a few years to continue her education and complete a degree in Sociology. She returned to Wainwright, AB in 2018, where she did a one-year stint at the Pharmacy before returning to the Clinic to continue her adventure with Dr. Brilz and the Clinic team. Brittany has been pursuing her education to become a Rural Family Doctor, but is presently focusing on the healthcare advances at the clinic and family planning. She desires to “take over” for Dr. Brilz…one day. For now, she continues to handle all the “behind-the-scenes” work at the clinic while supporting her doctors with her extensive knowledge. If you don’t find her at the clinic, which you probably would, she is either working from home or riding shotgun with her laptop in hand. She is still trying to learn the work-life balance.
Brittany is our Clinic Manager, Team Lead, Physician Liason, Prenatal Care Assistant, Billing Clerk, Forms Gal, WCB Know-it-all, Building Manager go-to, Training Extraordinaire, Behind the Scenes Hidden Gem, Opioid Medication Advisor, Privacy Officer, Prescription Renewal Tag Team Partner, and everything in between. She’s our “Titles R Us” go-to super user.
Rebekah White
Reception
Rebekah was born and raised in Irma, AB. She left to broaden her horizons and, in doing so, learned that home is where the heart is and has since moved back to Irma, AB. She joined the Brilz Associate Clinic Team in August 2024, and the Clinic has been grateful ever since. She brings her kindness, bright smile, lovable laughter and positive personality to her Clinic Team and all patients she comes in contact with, whether in person or over the phone. When Rebekah isn’t spreading her happiness at the clinic, you’ll find her at Tim Horton’s getting her 8th XL Steep Tea (double double in case you wanted to know) or gathering eggs from her chickens for colleagues at the clinic.
Rebekah works the front desk as our main Reception Gal. She is known as the Reception Queen, as she is the one person with whom every patient interacts. She will brighten your day with her smile, kind nature and contagious laugh.
Gerri Lynn Cromarty
Gerri Lynn comes to the clinic from Provost, AB. She joined the clinic team as a temporary fill-in to help out during periods of short staffing. She came in with a smile, a bubbly personality, and a kind nature. Although Gerri Lynn has always worked with animals, she has excelled in the patient department at the clinic. While still learning the ropes of each position, she does it with a smile and laughter, typically laughing at herself. Her love for travel is no exaggeration. When she’s not working at the clinic, she’s driving around Alberta or draining her bank account visiting family in the States.
Gerri’s nickname at the clinic is “Spare Parts.” She is learning the ropes to be in various positions in the clinic, becoming an asset when the clinic is short-staffed.

Clinic Hours
The clinic is closed between 12:00pm-1:00pm for lunch on weekdays. All hours remain the same, unless otherwise posted on the clinic door.
